Russia can not take place in USA

US Defense Secretary Jim Matthews told Arab leaders on Saturday that Russia will not be able to fill the US position in the Middle East after Moscow intervened.

"Russia's presence in the region will not replace the long-term, sustainable, and transparent accountability of the United States in the Middle East," Bahraini capital Manama said at a conference in Mattaise.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, along with the leaders of France, Germany and Turkey in Istanbul on Saturday, will be participating in the four-country Syrian conference.

The meeting will discuss the permanent solution to end the seven-year war in Syria. Before this conference, the US Defense Secretary said on the sidelines of Bahraini capital Manama Arab forum conference. Mattys said, "Moscow is a chance explorer. By proving that Assad's criminal activities on people of his country do not give much to the ethics of the country.

"Assad is still in power," Russia repeatedly vetoed Iran's support to the Syrian government and the United Nations decision.
