Trump sending troops to Mexico border

US President Donald Trump is deploying an additional 1,000 troops in the US-Mexico border.

The Pentagon has taken this step as part of the preparations to stop immigration attempts at the border.

Trump is planning to seal the southern border with the countries of Central America as well. The Washington Post reported on Friday.

US officials say President Trump is thinking of not giving shelter to any of the migrants. In this case, he can issue an emergency executive order like the "travel ban" of 2017.

Several thousands of migrants from Central America are now in Mexico. Until the last news, they are now heading towards the US border in the north through the country. Trump wants to stop the massive refugee caravan from the border. The troupe has already called this caravan as a 'threat to US security'. He also warned them to resist them. 

As part of that, an additional 1,000 troops were being sent along with thousands of soldiers from the past.

The US military will help combat the 'national emergency' situation and help prevent immigration from entering the United States - the Pentagon deployed these troops after the announcement of President Trump on Thursday.
