BNP secretary and DMP commissioner demanded punishment
Election Commission secretary Helaluddin Ahmed and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Aashaduzzaman Mia demanded the trial of those involved in the clashes and burning of the center on the distribution of nomination in BNP's Nayapaltan central office.
The EC has also demanded the trial of EC's joint secretary Farhad Ahmed Khan and the deputy commissioner of DMP zone concerned.
The BNP gave a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda demanding this on Tuesday noon.
A delegation led by BNP joint secretary general Moazzem Hossain Alal went to the Election Commission. The delegation of the BNP secretary general and national unity front leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will give the letter to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and the Election Commission secretary.
BNP has claimed that the incident happened only after the Election Commission issued a code of conduct. The EC has warned that if the EC does not take action, the party will take the law.
It is mentioned in the letter that the Election Commission announced the schedule for the eleventh parliamentary elections on 8 November. The government team distributed party nomination by creating traffic congestion by creating traffic congestion by blocking roads in front of the party office from 9 November to 12 November. Nomination seekers gather nomination by blocking roads in crowded areas like motorcycles, cars, pickups and other places like Dhanmondi. Besides, two people were killed in clashes between their candidates. At that time the police activity was not visible. Even the news of the casualties or any of their leaders and activists arrested has not been received in the media.
The commission commissioner and the DMP commissioner were irrigated by the commission after watching the tearing of the self-contained people in front of the BNP office. The sword of the alleged code of conduct came down to the BNP. The EC Secretary marked the violation of Code of Conduct by violating the code of conduct in the media. We think the interpretation of the preferential rules of the commission is not appropriate.
It is further mentioned that on November 13, the directive of the Election Commission to uphold the code of conduct has hampered the participation of people including activists and supporters. In the speech of election commissioner Helaluddin Ahmed, misleading statements and DMP commissioner Aashaduzzaman, there is clear indication of the incidents of incident incidents.
The question is kept in the letter, in spite of unprecedented unprecedented publicity on 12-13 November, such incident did not happen, why this kind of terrorist incident took place on 14th November?
BNP sent letter to EC
The letter claimed that many of the BNP activists were injured in the terrorist attack, they were sued. The police accused 472 people in three cases against the activists. 70 people have been arrested and 38 activists have been remanded. After the announcement of the schedule, where the BNP was conducting peaceful political activities, the Election Commission issued a letter to her in the process of creating serious obstructions in peaceful programs, and directly inflicting false cases against innocent leaders and workers.
In this situation, the Secretary of the Election Commission, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Deputy Police Commissioner of the concerned zone and the Joint Secretary (Election Management-2) of the Election Commission Secretariat, which sign the motivated copy of the letter, demanded to take disciplinary action. Moreover, the law will be taken to take action against them.
