Japan is providing $ 283 billion loan assistance to seven projects in India


Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, in a meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Monday, discussed bilateral economic cooperation besides strengthening security ties. However, most recent statements by Japan have not been spoken by Japan since the recent talks between Japan and China, especially in the context of security and military cooperation. Later, in the presence of two leaders, the credit-assistance exchange letter was signed. Under this, Japan is giving a total of 283 million US dollars for seven projects in India.

After the meeting, Japanese Prime Minister said that Japan and India's improved relations will open up the possibilities for the whole world, and strong Japan will benefit from India, similarly strong Indian will also be considered as beneficial for Japan. The Indian prime minister said in the north, he thinks that Asia's progress will never be possible if there is no deep relationship between India and Japan.

In a joint statement circulated after the top meeting, two leaders agreed to expand close cooperation with the United States and other partners. Though China's belt and road initiative was similar to Japan's concerns, the issue was not directly mentioned in the joint statement or the press conference. But the two leaders discussed the participation of Japan and India jointly in infrastructure projects in developing countries like 'India-Pacific Ocean region' like Kenya, besides several neighboring countries of India.

In the presence of Prime Minister of the two countries, Japanese and Indian officials signed an exchange agreement with Japan on seven infrastructure projects in Japan. According to the agreement between the two countries, Japan will pay a small amount of $ 283 million in India for a six-project for fast-moving bullet train projects between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, equivalent to the amount of loans. In addition to Japan, Japan agreed to supply Shinkansen bullet train technology for faster trains. After the completion of the construction of the railway, it will be possible to travel 500 kilometers between Mumbai and Ahmedabad for just seven hours now in just two hours.
