Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited US President Donald Trump as the chief guest of Republic Day.

Trump has refused to participate in the ceremony scheduled for January 26 next year.

The US administration blames the domestic emergency program at the same time as the reason for the cancellation of the tour. The US State Department has not yet made a statement in this regard. On Sunday, the US Embassy in New Delhi confirmed the trump to cancel the India tour. News NDTV.

In April, India invited Trump to participate in the program. In August, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed the invitation.
He said the final decision will be taken in September next. The NDTV said, at the same time, the annual state of the Union speech of the Trump senate is about to be given. There is no fixed day for this speech.

However, in the first week of January 22 through February, the US President gave the address.

The State of the Union suspended the speech in 2015, joined the parade of India's Republic Day parade, then President Barack Obama.
Analysts believe that Trump, the world's one of the strongest two economies, canceled the program in disagreement on several issues.
Recently, the United States warned India about the agreement to purchase the S-400 missile system from Russia.

At the beginning of this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement to buy five S-400 missile systems during his visit to India. The US also warns India about buying oil from Iran.

Despite the threat of sanctions, India continues to buy oil from Iran The Modi government will now invite new state heads to cancel the trump invitation. There is uncertainty whether the canceled application of the trump to take any head of state.

French President Francois Hollande was the chief guest in this program in  2016. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended in 2014.
