Chhatra League has given a 48-hour ultimatum to withdraw the statement made by BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul in connection with the clashes with BNP activists in front of the BNP office in the capital's Nayapaltan, and in this case.

Otherwise, they have warned the BNP chairperson's Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office that they are surrounded. Alongside this, Chhatra League has announced the case against the accused including Fakhrul.

The announcement was made from a gathering held at the foot of the Raju sculpture of Dhaka University on Thursday noon.

Central Chhatra League organized a procession rally and rally in protest of 'BNP's fire-fighting and conspiracy to foil the election.'

On Thursday noon, the demonstration procession started from the front of the Madur Canteen of Dhaka University and proceeded through a short rally in front of TSC Raju sculpture.

President of the Central Chhatra League President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shobhan and General Secretary Golam Rabbani spoke in the rally.

However, Dhaka University Chattra League did not participate in this protest.

In the speech, Chhatra League General Secretary Golam Rabbani said, all those who have attacked, Chhatra Dal and BNP's post-mortem cadre. Intelligence Police, DGFI and every law enforcing agency have their information. But Mirza Fakhrul made a shameful lie to their BCL leader. Due to this lie, we will file a defamation case against the BCL leader Mirza Fakhrul, Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy.

He said that he should seek unconditional apology by accepting Fakhrul in lieu of his statement in the next 48 hours. Otherwise, we will surround the Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office.

Chhatra League general secretary said, when the people of the whole country are preparing for the election, under the leadership of Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, the cadres of the Chhatra Dal attacked the law enforcers and the common people. The vehicles have been vandalized, the property of the government has been terminated. On the contrary, the leaders of the BCL leaders have been imposed. We strongly condemn such mischief and falsehood of BNP leaders.

Chhatra League President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Sobhan said, BNP-Jamaat's property was destroyed. They do not want the people of Bangladesh, they want power. On the other hand, the Awami League is relentlessly working hard for the people of this country.

He said, as the time of the election is approaching, the BNP-Jamaat cadres are being rattled as much as possible. Chhatra League leaders and activists will have to be more vigilant about them. If you want to obstruct the development of the country, you will have to answer his toothbrush.
