The teacher went to the river swim for 19 years
Distance from home to school is 24 kilometers. If you want to go on the road, you have to go to the bus stand for ten minutes. After that, the bus has to be changed twice. After walking down the bus it is more than two kilometers, the school only. However, the path is little in the way of the river.
That is why Abdul Malik, a remote village named Padimatatmudi, in Mallapuram district of Kerala state of India, went to the river swim for 19 years.
He is Assistant Teacher of Muslim Lower Primary School in the district. The school has three sides Kadalundipujha river. Since 1992 Abdul Malik has been teaching at this school.
After taking his job, Abdul Malik went to school on the road. It could take 6 hours to go. Every day it seemed like a war.
Later, other teachers of the school advised Abdul, and the nearby river near Abdul School could swim without coming into trouble. If there is no cost, then it will take less time.
Abdul Malik uses the advice. Every day the school's uniforms, books, paper pens, and other necessary items were tied in a plastic bag and came to the river every morning. After that, he reached the bank near the school and swam swim. Instead of clothes, go to school. This is going on in 19 years.
45-year-old Abdul Malik teaches his skill in the school. He did not want to miss school even a day.
Abdul Malik said I am satisfied with the salary from the school. I am fine. I do not have any problem going to school swimming. Have been practiced.
