Jamaat leaders of BNP alliance got Nomination


Twenty-party alliance partner Jamaat-e-Islami has been given 25 seats to join the upcoming eleven parliamentary elections. On Tuesday night, it was reported in the 20-party alliance.

The nominees are:


Abdul Hakim of Thakurgaon-2, Mohammad Hanif in Dinajpur-1, Anwarul Islam in Dinajpur-6, Moniruzzaman Montu in Nilphamari-2 constituency, Azizul Islam in Nilphamari-3 constituency, Golam Rabbani in Rangpur-5 constituency, Majedur Rahman Sarkar of Gaibandha-1, Rafiqul Islam Khan in Sirajganj-4 constituency, Iqbal Hussain in Pabna-5 constituency, Matiur Rahman in Jhenaidah-3 constituency, Syed Abdullah Mohammad in Comilla-11 constituency. Taher, Hamidur Rahman Azad in Cox's Bazar-2, Shamsul Islam in Chittagong-15 constituency

Abu Sayeed Mohammad Shahadat Hossain in the Jessore-2 constituency, Abdul Wadud of Bagerhat-3, Abdul Alim of Bagerhat-4, Mollah Golam Parwar of Khulna-5 constituency, Abul Kalam Azad in Khulna-6 constituency, Rabiul Bashar, Satkhira-2 in Satkhira-3 Gazi Nazrul Islam of Satkhira-4 constituency, Shamim Sayedi in Pirojpur-1 constituency, Farid Uddin Chowdhury of Sylhet-5 constituency, Habibur Rahman in Sylhet-6 constituency and Shafiqur Rahman in Dhaka-15 constituency.

The High Court on July 1, 2013 declared the registration of Jamaat-e-Islami canceled and illegal. The Election Commission (EC) has issued a notification declining Jamaat's registration on October 28. So there is no scope for selection as the party Jamaat However, Jamaat leaders can choose between the symbol of the party as an independent candidate or a registered party candidate. EC secretary Helaluddin Ahmed said on 9 November, the EC will have nothing to do if an unregistered party wants to make a joint election with a registered party. There is no explanation for the law in this regard.
