Pakistan have been stuck in Bolt
After losing 1 wicket in the second innings, New Zealand were 18 runs behind. It may seem like this, that the second day for New Zealand was very bad. But the reality is that the tourists will be happy to spend a day at the end of the first day. New Zealand bowled Pakistan out for 227 runs and finished the day on the second day, losing just one wicket to 56 runs. The wicket is still unbeaten with the original batting confidence 27 runs.
Trent Boult led the tour of New Zealand. Boult has bowled a great spin-friendly wicket. Azhar Ali took five wickets in the first spell of 3 overs with 2 runs. After Pakistan's innings, his bowling figure took four wickets in 54 balls with 18.2 overs. Colin D Grandhom and Ankit Patel took two wickets each for New Zealand.
Babar Azam (62) has played a major role in taking the lead in Pakistan. Haris Sohail (38) and Asad Shafiq (43) contributed. Shafiq and Babar added 83 runs in the fifth wicket to ensure Pakistan's lead. Pakistan lost the last 5 wickets in 50 runs without losing a hundred.
